Nutrient Digest_Fall2011  The first edition of the Western Nutrient Digest is attached. This publication is being published as part of the Western Nutrient Management and Water Quality WERA 103 (Western Education/Extension and Research Activities) group of which Colorado State University is a participant. In this issue, you will find recent research summaries on N fertilizer selection for minimal ammonia losses, overwinter nitrate leaching losses, overwinter volatilization of fall applied urea, and on the newly updated University of Idaho Nutrient Management website. We are interested in your feedback on how to improve this newsletter or topics suggestions for future issues. Submissions are welcome as well.
